Hooman C. Hakami
Hooman attended
the University of Massachusetts and graduated cum laude with a B.B.A. in
Operations Management in 1991.
He
joined GE Power Systems in 1991. In
1992, Hooman moved to GE’s Aerospace Division, where he participated in the GE
Financial Management Program. In 1994,
he moved to GE Capital and held positions of increasing responsibility within
Finance, including Finance Director, European Operations based in London. In 1999 he moved to GE Healthcare as CFO for
the Clinical and Multi-vendor Services businesses. In 2001, he became the CFO for the Global
Ultrasound division. In 2004, Hooman
moved from finance to operations by becoming the VP & GM, Global Ultrasound
Services. In 2005, Hooman’s role was
expanded and he assumed responsibility for the Global Clinical Systems Services
business.
In July 2009, Hooman moved
from services to running a global product business as the leader of the global
Interventional Systems business, based in France. In 2012, his role was expanded and he
currently leads the Detection & Guidance Solutions business, a $2B global
business with 1,700 global employees that specializes in X-Ray technology. Hooman is also a graduate of GE’s Experienced
Finance Leadership Program and is a certified Quality Leader.
Hooman
is married to Christine and they have three children.
He
enjoys travel, tennis, music, comedies, and spending time with his family.
