By the end of this program, the viewer should be able to:
- Identify major anatomical structures of the adult respiratory system on PA (posteroanterior) and lateral projection radiographs of the chest.
- Evaluate chest radiographs for correct positioning and proper demonstration of pertinent anatomy.
- Describe common errors radiographers make when performing chest radiography, and establish methods to avoid these errors.
- Apply other technologists' positioning suggestions to your normal positioning strategy to help improve your overall imaging result.
