Overview

By the end of this program, you should be able to: 

  • Discuss the evolution of the combat support hospital (CSH). 
  • Discuss the CSH medical mission and the system of care employed by the U.S. Army. 
  • State reasons for the reduction in fatalities in Iraq as compared to the Vietnam War. 
  • Define what state-of-the-art prosthetic equipment is benefitting military patients who have lost limbs.
