Track Information

Financial Management

Description: The  Improving Financial Performance track is dedicated to sharing best practices and building knowledge for customers who leverage GE Healthcare solutions and products to improve revenue cycle performance. Attend these sessions to maximize your existing Centricity revenue cycle investments and learn how additional products and workflows can enhance your institution’s profitability and efficiency. 

This track will focus on how organizations can improve Revenue Cycle in an era of payment reform. Learn how to make improvements in front-desk operations, back office billing operations, access management, financial management, reporting & analytics, and interoperability.  

Customers of all types and sizes will find sessions for them in the Improving Financial Performance track. Customers of Centricity Business, Centricity Practice Solution, Centricity Group Management and Centricity Enterprise can benefit from both product-centered sessions as well as sessions dedicated to improving operations regardless of installed product.   

Enterprise Imaging

Description: Sessions in the Imaging Informatics Excellence Track highlight Centricity Radiology Imaging solutions that drive high performance integrated and collaborative care.  Attend these sessions to maximize your existing Centricity Radiology Imaging investments and learn how innovative new solutions can enhance your organization’s ability to reduce cost, improve access, and enhance quality.     

This track will include topics of interest for the Centricity Radiology Imaging attendees, including the CRISS, DIAMOND, and EXCITE user group members, encompassing topics across Imaging from the department, to the enterprise, to the referral users. Sub-tracks will focus on product training, product information, industry and technology trends, thought leadership, GE customer collaboration and best practice sharing.    

Departmental Workflow

Description: Sessions in this track highlight GE Healthcare IT solutions and services that drive care. Attend these sessions to maximize your existing GE Healthcare IT investments and learn how additional products and workflows can enhance your institution’s profitability and efficiency. Attendees can choose from three sub-tracks to focus their conference experience:      

Cardiology

Sessions in this sub-track are designed for IT Professions (CIOs, CMIOs, and Directors of IT), Cardiologists, and Cardiology Administrators.  Attend this sub-track to learn how the Centricity Cardio Enterprise enhances patient care by offering full clinical access, optimized productivity and improved revenue cycle efficiencies. Hear from key experts how CIOs, CMIOs and luminary cardiologists and administrators are responding to this rapidly undulating landscape, thru their business and IT strategies.    

Perinatal

This sub-track is designed for IT Professionals, management and perinatal healthcare professionals. Centricity* Perinatal is a clinical information system with documentation that helps support clinicians to enhance patient safety in Labor and Delivery (L&D), Mother-Baby, and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). At every step, in every setting, Centricity Perinatal gives the entire clinical team a complete picture of the mother’s and baby’s health – helping to improve workflow and supporting informed, collaborative care. Join us in these sessions to learn how to grow and optimize your Centricity Perinatal system either as the best of breed solution or in collaboration with your enterprise EMR.   

High Acuity Care

Sessions are designed for IT Professionals (CIOs, CMIOs and Directors of IT), Surgical Services Management, Anesthesia Management, Surgical Services & Anesthesia Clinicians, and Materials Managers. Sessions in the High Acuity sub-track enable you to improve patient satisfaction, increase organizational efficiency and drive improved profitability and efficiency in all aspects of the Surgical Services environment.   

Electronic Medical Records

Description:  The Electronic Medical Records track is about providing innovative EMR solutions for physicians, nurses, pharmacists and other healthcare  providers in practices, clinics and hospitals. Sessions in this track will focus on products and solutions that enhance the delivery of healthcare and utilization of the EMR. This track will provide an opportunity for attendees to focus their conference experience, share best practices and exchange ideas through a series of sub-tracks.  

Inpatient / Hospital-Based Users

Centricity Enterprise is a robust and innovative EMR that helps physicians, nurses, pharmacists and other healthcare providers deliver high quality, cost effective care.  Attend this sub-track to receive Centricity Enterprise roadmap updates, discuss healthcare IT issues and trends such as Meaningful Use and ICD-10 and share best practices with other Centricity Enterprise customers.    

Ambulatory / Clinic-Based Users

Centricity Practice Solution and Centricity EMR form the backbone for many practices in improving clinical productivity, maintaining patient information, and ensuring that the practice gets paid in a timely manner. Join this sub-track to get best practices on adjusting for upcoming trends such as ICD-10 and Meaningful Use Stage 2, to get the latest on the roadmap for future enhancements, and to hear from some customers who have achieved success. This sub-track will also cover the Medical Quality Improvement Consortium and ways to use analytics-based insight in your practice.

What is Centricity LIVE?

Centricity LIVE 2014 is Healthcare’s premier IT education conference, offering thought leadership in action, best practice sharing, interactive demos, Continuing Education Credits (CEUs) and more. Enjoy the attractions of the beautiful Denver area, from mountains and museums to shopping, dining, and night life.

More than 1,000 professionals took part in the 2013 conference—90 percent of them Centricity customers. The insights and best practices that emerged from the educational tracks were complemented by an inspiring roster of speakers, from GE Chairman Jeff Immelt to Capt. Mark Kelly and an appearance by Congresswoman Gabby Giffords. Our goal is to build on that energy and create a 2014 conference that delivers the high level of quality that attendees expect. Can attendees receive CEU credits for the User Conference? 

Yes, continuing education credits will be offered for nurses and technologists. Additional continuing education credit opportunities are being evaluated and may become available. The number of possible credits and sessions offering credits are based on agenda and CEU submission approval. Please refer to the session schedule or email us.

What is the conference fee/cost for registration?

    ** In order to receive the Refer a Peer $50.00 discount, your colleague must register and record your name in the Referred by a Peer field.    Once both parties are registered and in the registration system, you will receive your discount and a credit will be issued.  Only 1 Refer a Peer discount per attendee will be applied.

Are group rates available for organizations that want to send multiple attendees? 

Yes, every group that registers three or more people will receive a $50 discount that will be applied to all who purchased the group package. All people need to be from the same organization. To receive this discount one person from your organization must complete the online registration process and purchase a Group Package. Each individual will be sent a registration code. Each individual will then be required to register using that code. Remember, during the online registration process, this code must be entered for each company registration in order to receive the discounted registration. Once a person has registered, a volume discount adjustment may not be applied. The volume code must be entered at the time of initial registration. Which hotels should we book for the event?

A limited number of rooms are being held at the following hotels. The rates are discounted rates and are only available to Centricity LIVE attendees. Rooms in this block are limited and not guaranteed.

*Tax is not included.  Hotel rate includes complimentary internet access and fitness center.

How do I make hotel reservations for Centricity LIVE? 

Please make your hotel reservation when you register online for the conference. All reservations require a valid credit card to hold the reservation. Although you provide your credit card number when making your hotel reservation, your hotel room charges will not be charged to this card. It is a guarantee only. When you check in, payment for your hotel room will be required and can be made with cash, check or credit card. If you use a credit card, the actual card must be presented in person. If you need to prepay by credit card, please let Beatty Group know and we will send the hotel a preauthorization credit card form. If you wish to prepay the hotel by check, please carry the check with you. Please do not mail checks to the hotel prior to the conference nor send them to Beatty Group. Beatty Group cannot process your hotel payments.

Is transportation provided to and from the airport and hotel? 

No, transportation is not provided.  We recommend the following

Super Shuttle: Cost is $22 per person each way, $40 round trip.

  • Shuttle ticket counters are located on Terminal Level 5, across from the rental car agencies. Reservations are not required.
  • For ticket information and reservations, call 800-258-3826 or 303-316-3865.  
  • Super Shuttle features blue vans with "SUPER SHUTTLE" printed on the side.

Car Service:

  • Yellow Cab: Approximate cost is $51 to airport from downtown and $54.50 from airport to the hotel. 
  • Limo Service: Approximate cost is $60 to $120 (one way, dependent upon company and number of passengers). 

All ground transportation services at Denver International Airport are located in Jeppesen Terminal, Level 5.
