Upon completion of the course the participating Technologist should be able to scan, post-process Cardiac CT Angiograms from start to completion with minimal assistance.

Previous basic Advantage Workstation experience recommended. It is highly recommended that the technologist be experienced with GE's multi slice CT scanners.

Instructor Bio

Joey Glass is the Director of Cardiovascular CT for Cardiology Associates of Mobile, Inc., a Mobile, AL based single specialty cardiology group with 27 cardiologists. Cardiology Associates is a National Show Site for GE Healthcare. Joey has a degree in Radiological Sciences from the University of Alabama Birmingham and has more than 10 years experience with CT in the hospital, corporate and private practice settings. Prior to his employment with Cardiology Associates Joey was an Applications Specialist for GE HealthCare. As an Applications Specialist, he has traveled throughout the southeast, training physicians and CT Technologists on all of the latest CT Scanners and Advantage Windows Workstation software. The CT Department clinical staff at Cardiology Associates consists of 2 Nurses and 1 additional CT Technologist. Since April of 2005, Cardiology Associates has performed more than 1,600 Coronary CT Angiograms, and an additional 800 peripheral CT Angiograms.
