Program Objective:
Develop the knowledge base of practicing clinicians to recognize and successfully interpret heart arrhythmias.

Participant Learning Objectives:
Upon successful completion of the Arrhythmia Recognition course, participants will be able to:

  • Discuss basic anatomy and physiology of the heart
  • Discuss the conduction system of the heart
  • Identify waveforms and interval measurements for an ECG tracing
  • Use a systematic approach to interpret ECG rhythms
  • Identify specific types of cardiac arrhythmias
