is a multi-focused program in which discussion pertains primarily to the study
of cardiac CT. However, because there are several methods used to assess heart
morphology and function, this program compares and contrasts CT to invasive
catheter angiography, MRI, ultrasound, nuclear, and PET scanning. Included are
pathology examples associated with coronary vascular disease, and patient
workup from diagnosis and treatment through follow-up. The course objectives
specifically target CT technologists.
