Overview

By the end of this program, the viewer should be able to: 

  • Categorize the primary growth stages associated with children. 
  • Analyze communication factors to be used with pediatric patients and their parents.
  • Define significant elements of the aging process in terms of physical or biological changes. 
  • Recognize primary psychological alterations that take place in normal aging in order to better communicate with elderly patients.
  • Assemble strategies for improved provider-patient interaction and customer service.
