By the end of this program, the viewer should be able to:

  • Recognize the procedural elements necessary to build effective thoracic and abdominal computer tomography (CT) protocols.
  • Define anatomic and physiologic components to be considered when creating CT imaging procedures. 
  • Differentiate emerging technologies impacting thoracoabdominal imaging. 
  • Identify current medical imaging literature that impacts CT image quality.
