Overview

By the end of this program, the viewer should be able to: 

  • Identify the primary mechanical differences of 4, 8, 16, and 64 channel CT scanners.
  • Assess the evolution of functional imaging as contrasted to anatomical evaluation. 
  • Describe diagnostic and clinical benefits of volume acquisition procedures.
  • Recognize potential for enhanced visualization of anatomic structures and pathologic conditions as represented by volume CT imaging.
