ere will be one-time costs to support installation and implementation of certified capabilities for all new customers. These costs will be based on several factors, including the use of virtual vs. physical workstations executing the application; the level of support provided by local IT vs. utilization of GE Services; and the type and quantity of external interfaces to third-party systems, and clinical Registries. These details and specifics will be included in each individual customer’s contractual agreement with GE.

There will be annual support and/or maintenance costs associated with certified capabilities for all measures. The actual support and/or maintenance costs are specified in each individual customer’s contractual agreement with GE, and will vary based on the number of users and complexity of the installation (e.g. number of databases).

There may be one-time interface configuration costs, and an annual maintenance fee associated with the following measures: Demographics (170.314.a.3); Image Results (170.314.a.12); Transitions of Care / referral summaries (170.314.b.1-2); Incorporate Laboratory Tests and Values/Results (170.314.b.5); Clinical Quality Measures (170.314.c.1-3); Transmission to Immunization Registries and Public Health Agencies - Syndromic Surveillance (170.314.f.2-3); Transmission to Cancer Registries (170.314.f.5-6); Automated Measure Calculation (170.314.g.2); and Report Specific Cases to Specialized Registry; and will vary depending on the total number of interfaces, and if customization is required for unique Registries or 3rd Party data sources (e.g. Demographics or Image Results). There may be annual or monthly subscription costs through third-party partners associated with the following measures: Clinical Decision Support (170.314.a.8) and Patient-Specific Education Resources (170.314.a.15). There may be a one-time configuration cost for reporting on all measures. There may be additional costs for state or local transmission methods for public health measures. Customers may choose to incur additional costs to customize clinical content; these costs will vary depending on the number and complexity of the customization requests. Customers may incur additional transmission costs associated with the following measures based on specific implementation decisions: Transitions of Care / referral summaries (170.314.b.1-2); these costs are generally associated with an increase in the automation of the generation and transmission.

If the Complete EHR solutions are used, there will be a one-time cost, and an annual maintenance fee for Centricity Patient Portal, or Centricity Patient On Line Portal, these costs will vary depending on the number of users.

If the Complete EHR solutions are not used, there may be additional costs through a 3rd Party to support View, Download, and Transmit to a 3rd Party (170.314.e.1) and Secure Messaging (170.314.e.3).
