Using the innovative Energy Saving Mode software during evenings and weekends when it is not in use, the Optima CT660 can reduce annual electricity consumption by an additional 32,600 kWh, or a total of 65% per system compared to the previous-generation GE system. This can avoid 19.1 metric tons of CO2 emissions on the US grid per year, equivalent to the annual CO2 emissions of approximately 4 cars on US roads.
